KENNY CALDWELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Kenny Caldwell Memorial Scholarship is an annual award developed by the Board of Directors of Anderson Area Crime Stoppers to honor President Emeritus and founding member, Kenny M. Caldwell, who suddenly passed away in August 2019.


Kenny had served as the coordinator for Anderson Area Crime Stoppers for over 30 years and was instrumental in revitalizing the program in the community. He was also a reserve officer with the City of Anderson Police Department for more than 39 years.

Scholarship Information & Application

For 2021, Anderson Area Crime Stoppers is awarding $2,500 to three (3) college students. Priority is given to students attending Tri-County Technical Community College and Anderson University.


Anderson Area Crime Stoppers will award $500 to one Tri-County Technical College student majoring in Criminal Justice, $1,000 will be awarded to one Anderson University undergraduate student majoring in Criminal Justice and $1,000 will be awarded to one Anderson University Command College or Public Services Administration program participant.
